A New Year

It's the end of another year, and a new beginning.

As we reflect on this past year we have so much to be grateful for. We spent the first half of the year in New Orleans, a city we love, working in jobs we loved. We got to travel a lot, and we were able to spend a few months with family. And now we're in a wonderful training program in Vancouver getting ready to go to Portugal. We're meeting new people and learning a lot.

In 25 days we'll be headed back to the U.S. to train in Richmond, VA for a couple of months. Then we'll head to Lisbon, Portugal! We are finally going after a year of planning and preparing.

This new year is going to bring a lot of changes for us, and we could not be more excited. We know that wherever we go, God is with us, and He is working. We are excited about meeting new people and trying new things. We can't wait to meet more of the people at the seminary, our teammates, and our future neighbors.

We pray that God opens our eyes to see opportunities wherever we are and that He gives us a boldness to make the most of those opportunities. We pray the same thing for you. God has placed you where you are for a reason.

How can you impact the Kingdom in 2013? Who is a believer you can mentor? Who is someone who needs to hear the gospel message that you can share with this year? How can you serve your church?
