Packing Up and Moving Out!

Tomorrow is our last full day in Vancouver. We are getting picked up at 5:15 a.m. on Friday morning to go to the airport. It's a bittersweet time. We hate to leave, but we are excited to be one step closer to getting to Lisbon.

Our suitcases are mostly packed, and our apartment is mostly clean. We're down to doing our last load of laundry, cleaning out the refrigerator, and packing a few more things.

We've spent the last week getting good byes in. We've missed a couple of people, which makes us sad, but we've had some quality time with most of our friends--both people from here and classmates going to other countries. We had a few final opportunities to share and give gifts like the Jesus Film to some of our friends as well.

Time has truly flown by. It seems like we just got here. October 15th feels like it was only a few weeks ago instead of more than 3 months ago. We made good friends and had great ministry opportunities. Plus, we learned a lot. We didn't know what to expect from our time here. We only hoped it would make us more effective in Lisbon and deepen our love for cities. We feel like our time here has done both of these things.

Pray for us as we spend an entire day traveling. We'll get to Richmond, VA around 10 p.m. Friday night, so it will be a long day. Pray for us to rest and relax and for the flights to be peaceful. Pray for us to share with the people we sit near--to share the gospel and our stories if they aren't believers and to encourage them if they are.
