Always Something New

One thing we absolutely love about or city is that we are always discovering something new. We took some new colleagues out exploring downtown on Saturday. We showed them lots of plazas with statues and people hanging about and then went out to dinner. As we were walking back to the metro around 10:30 to go home, I heard some music and saw a crowd. We decided to walk over to see what was going on. Once we walked down the street, we ended up behind the San Carlos National Theater, the opera house of Lisbon. Thousands of people were gathered in the plaza behind it watching a free outdoor performance of an opera. Of course we joined them for the last hour of it!
